There are more than 13 million people in need of humanitarian help in Syria who have lived through war and many difficult situations. More than 6 million are struggling to survive have been forced from their homes and are living in poverty.
Year 2 told us the parable of the Good Samaritan from the Bible in Collective Worship. They challenged us to think about who our neighbour is told us about the cold winters that the people in Syria face. They asked us to show love in action by supporting the Samara’s Aid Appeal with them.

They asked us to collect the aid items below to help some of the most vulnerable displaced families in the Middle East:
- Warm winter clothes for adults, children & babies
- Shoes and boots in good condition
- Blankets, sleeping bags, sheets & towels
