Sam from Enabling Enterprise launched our whole School Challenge Day. She set us the challenge of making Greetings Cards to sell at our Olympic Enterprise Fair later on this term. She reminded us to use Enterprise Skills: imagination, teamwork, listening and having a positive attitude.
Do come and buy our Greetings Cards at our Olympic Enterprise Fair on 27th May 2016.
Key Stage 2 performed the poems they were learning throughout the Spring Term with our Poetry teacher Miss Cortes. They shared with us the poems about Trust and Thankfulness.

Green Team had an exciting day at the Southwark Recycling Centre on Thursday. They learned about the benefits of recycling materials at home and school and watched how objects are sorted by machines and by hand at the centre. They even impressed the staff with a 100% score in the final knowledge test of the day!
Our school have embarked upon a partnership with Enabling Enterprise and some of our pupils visited Thames Water Hogsmill in Kingston-Upon-Thames. They started the day by finding out a bit more about Thames Water and then they were set the challenge of coming up with an exciting name for their own engineering business as a team. The teams then had to don hard hats and safety vests before heading out on an amazing tour of the site where they saw people working in teams and using their Problem-Solving skills to fix broken pipes.
“I was so impressed by the Year 3, 4 and 5 children from St Mary Magdalene C of E Primary School, particularly their teamwork skills. They worked really well in teams with children from different year groups, helping each other out and making sure everyone was included every step of the way.” (Sam, Enabling Enterprise)
